S&W Manufacturing Company Opens New Headquarters

S&W Manufacturing Company Inc. has nearly doubled its work space with a brand new headquarters just north of its two original facilities at 400-402 and 375 S. Evergreen, Bensenville, IL.

The new headquarters located at 216 S. Evergreen, also in Bensenville, now provides S&W Manufacturing with more than 30,000 square feet of space, up from 17,500 square feet.

The new facility features expanded warehousing to stock more top selling products for on-demand shipping and streamlined shipping and receiving spaces. The new facility frees up more factory floor space in the original two facilities to allow state-of-the-art automation of the manufacturing process for spring plungers and other top S&W sellers.

S&W has also added Swiss screw machines to allow for automated assembly for its in-demand products.

The original facilities, in the S&W family since 1978, will remain active working spaces, giving the growing company plenty of expansion room to meet customer's needs. S&W President, William J. Burr said he plans to offer expanded in-house training to help workers better meet customer needs, as well, with the new space. Additionally, Burr said he plans to provide machine technology training to youth from the area to help feed a growing demand for skilled workers.
