U.S. Patent Awarded for PolyMount™
Bensenville, IL - The U.S. Patent Office issued Pat. No. 6,742,750 to S&W Manufacturing for the design of its PolyMount™ machine leveling mounts today. The new base, comprised of a corrosion resistant glass-reinforced nylon, features an internal ball and socket system that allows for self-leveling capabilities and reduces stress on key supports. The devices also feature "Pop-out Lag Holes" which gives greater flexibility to manufacturers who use the devices and distributors who sell them.
PolyMount machine leveling mounts also feature skid-resistant padding which is secured within a grooved footing for secure placement. "S&W is committed to providing customers with design enhancements and improvements that continually increase efficiency and save costs," said William J. Burr, president of S&W Manufacturing.
"PolyMounts," as they are affectionately called, are ideal for a variety of conveyor machinery, including that for packaging, food and pharmaceutical production.
